STRAVEN Strategy Group reflects Deb’s lifelong commitment to sustainability, shaped by both personal experience and professional expertise. At 18, Deb’s father’s sudden paralysis and unwavering resilience profoundly influenced her path. That experience instilled in her a deep belief in humanity’s capacity to overcome adversity — and a conviction that each of us has the power to thrive while contributing to the well-being of all forms of life on this planet.

Now with over 30 years of experience in law, environmental strategy, facilitation, and public engagement, Deb partners with schools, private industry, and communities to create tailored, actionable pathways toward greater resilience. She doesn’t just deliver recommendations — she helps teams translate complexity into clarity, move from vision to implementation, and build internal capacity for long-term success.

Whether guiding a company or school district toward net zero, supporting stakeholder engagement in rural energy transitions, or helping teams communicate complex findings with ease, she brings sharp analysis, clear structure, and a deep sense of care to her work.
